LAVO required a production design that could evolve throughout the evening — beginning with elevated architectural ambiance during dinner service and transforming into a dynamic DJ-driven nightlife experience.

The design had to:
•   Respect and enhance the venue’s architectural identity
•   Maintain warmth and intimacy during dining
•   Introduce energy and movement without overpowering the space
•   Integrate seamlessly within tight load-in and operational windows

Unlike a permanent installation, this event required temporary infrastructure that performed at a permanent-system level.

SLX Productions designed a complete event production system that seamlessly transitioned from upscale dining to high-energy nightclub atmosphere.

Using Vectorworks and Capture previsualization, we developed detailed renderings and scene studies to define:
•   Warm architectural lighting scenes for dinner
•   Transitional lighting states to shift mood gradually
•   Full DJ performance lighting with movement, beam effects, and color dynamics

The system was built around a flexible DMX control architecture, allowing seamless transitions between curated scenes and live operator control. This enabled our team to easily shift between operational modes while maintaining design integrity.

Audio was tuned to maintain clarity during dining and scale into nightclub-level output without harsh tonal shifts — preserving both intelligibility and impact. The distributed speaker system delivered warmth for conversation during dinner service and controlled power for DJ performances.

The event transitioned from an upscale dining experience to a high-energy nightlife environment without visual disruption.

Lighting scenes elevated architectural details while performance mode introduced movement, contrast, and depth. The audio system maintained warmth during dinner and delivered controlled impact during DJ programming.

The production design enhanced the guest experience without drawing attention to infrastructure — achieving technical precision with aesthetic restraint.
